1 Month Appointment

Gabe had his one month appointment with the pediatrician this morning. Not too much to report, other than he is a growing boy! He's now 11 lbs even (thank you boob-juice!) and 23 inches long. The doctor said he is big for his age, but it's not anything to worry about because he is so tall.

He also got his first shot today (Hep B). It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. He screamed right when he got the shot, but calmed down as soon as I picked him up. All in all, he cried for 15 seconds total. I'd like to say that I hope his 2 month shots go as smoothly, but I hear the 2 month shots are a lot rougher.

In other news - it's my birthday today! Happy birthday to me and happy one month birthday to Gabe! I must say, he's the best birthday present I could ask for. I haven't taken a picture of him yet today, but I'll come back and update this post once I do.
