Hurricane Ike descended on Texas this week, but luckily we were missed by the devastation. In fact, it never even rained here. My in-laws came in from Corpus Christi (early on it looked to hit Corpus full force) and stayed through Saturday morning. Even though a hurricane isn't always the best reason for a visit, we were glad to see everyone, and had a nice couple days of hanging out with Armando's nieces, sister-in-law, and mom. And I will say it again, like I always do after seeing his nieces, if we are lucky enough to end up with kids half as great as they are, we will be very lucky.
In other news, our router went caput yesterday, another reason for few updates. Hopefully that situation will be righted by the end of the day - I'm going a bit stir crazy without thenest.com!
New symptoms in Squeaky-land this week include: not much. I still feel great, and aside from some sore breasts, I don't really even feel pregnant. It's a little disconcerting, I will admit. But I just try to remind myself that at this point that is the way it is supposed to be, and in the near future, I may be wishing I could be back at this point.
I leave you today with my first belly picture from Friday, 4 weeks, 5 days. Not much to see, but I might as well document it anyway.
