BFP!!!!

BFP this morning. I got up and poas, totally expecting a BFN. 11 dpo is too early. Lo and behold, there is a faint line! I could barely see it at first, but then it darkened to a definite, but still faint line.

I took Mando out to dinner tonight to tell him. If you remember, he wanted me to tell him in a special way. I bought him a card, wrote some things in it that were remarkably similar to a card he wrote me six years ago - the first time he told me he loved me. Maybe I'll post the card later, we'll see.

Anyway, I got to the restaurant before him and gave the waitress the card and asked her to bring it with dessert. She must have misunderstood me, because we get to the end of the meal, and here come our waitress, our card and dessert....along with the rest of the wait staff singing their version of "Happy Birthday" at the top of their lungs. Poor boy is looking at me with a "WTF?!" look on his face and I was laughing so hard I could barely manage to tell him to read the card. So he reads it, and all he could say was "Really? No, really?" Until I handed him my camera with the pictures of this morning's test.

We're still in a bit of shock. Its my mom's birthday so we are going to tell both moms tonight (if we can get either one to answer their phones!), but I think we'll wait to tell everyone else until we can confirm it with the doctor.

Oh ya, and I'm due May 17, 2009. Holy crap.
