So, as assumed, BFN this morning. Oh well. No biggie. It's my birthday, so I don't care! Overall, had a pretty good birthday. The guys at work were out of the office for marathon meetings most of the day, so the office was quiet. I caught up on some work and purposely worked a little slower than normal, just because it has been so crazy lately, I might as well take advantage of the quiet.
Got home to a clean kitchen tonight. Man, that was nice. Now that we have been better about keeping the house clean it just stresses me out all the more when it is dirty. Mando made an awesome dinner - steak with mashed potatoes and awesome asparagus. I had a double helping of asparagus, it was sooo good.
The best part was I got a new camera for my birthday. I knew I was getting it, but it was still fun to open the gift. I have been eyeing this camera ever since we got one for my office back in October. It is a Canon SD1100, and it is slightly larger than a credit card, so I'll be able to carry it in my purse. I love my old digital Canon camera, but it is almost 6 years old now, and too big to carry in a purse. And since Armando has a nicer camera, I very rarely take pictures with it. But I do find myself thinking "Man, I wish I had a camera with me!" I'm excited to take it with us to Belize. I'm sure this new camera will be worth it's weight in gold once we have little ones around too.
Anyways, I'm off to bed now. Armando doesn't know it yet, but he is about to get ambushed, 'cause well, it's fun and lately you gotta strike while the iron's hot. Goodnight!
