Holy Cow, 36 weeks!

Sorry it's been so long since I've written. The last two weeks have been a little rough and I haven't had much to blog about other than being uncomfortable. So here are some positive things instead.

The nursery is just about finished! I have a couple little decorative things left to do, which hopefully will get done by the end of the weekend, and I'll post a picture of the finished product. All of his laundry is finished and folded, and I think we have just about everything we will need when we bring him home. Hospital bags are about packed. I have a couple last minute type things to add to the labor bag, but other than that we're ready.

Squeaky has dropped considerably in the last two weeks (part of why I've been so uncomfortable!). It's crazy, I'll think he's done dropping then I will wake up in the morning and he has dropped some more!

I started going to the doctor once a week starting last Tuesday. Also had my first internal exam, which wasn't bad. I had already prepared myself for the doctor to tell me that there was no progress down there, but surprisingly, he told me I'm already 50% effaced! I know this doesn't mean much, he could still be two weeks late, but it's been enough to give me a wake up call that he could be here early too, who knows?

As for belly pictures, I now look like I have swallowed a basketball. Here is the latest picture, which is from last Thursday (April 9th):
