Now for the real reason you came...
It's been getting warm here in South Texas and I just couldn't wait. I bought Gabe a little swimming pool and we tried it out in the front yard a couple weekends ago.
He loved the dolphin sprinkler (until he stuck his face right in front of it, that is!):
Then he decided standing outside the pool and looking in was a little more his style:
He also thought it was fun to splash:
Happy boy!
And at the end of the experience, a good snuggle in Mama's lap hit the spot!
As you know, I'm an avid supporter of the March of Dimes. So when I found out that the local chapter was doing a fundraising walk, I was all about it. I dedicated this walk to my internet friend Maggie, who lost her son, Aidan, prematurely in February. And although it was early and quite windy for a typical Saturday morning in May, we had a great time on our 3 mile March for Babies through the grounds of Sea World!
